About Catherine
My name is Catherine Scutt and I am a civil funeral celebrant based in the Dearne Valley in South Yorkshire. I work in Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Sheffield and Wakefield.
As a funeral celebrant, my aim is to help each family to create a personal, person-centred ceremony for their loved one which commemorates their life and provides comfort and support to those left behind.
It is a privilege to be able to support a bereaved family, learn about their loved one and write and deliver the ceremony they deserve.
I just want to say a big thank you for S___'s service. Everybody said it was so nice getting to know about S___'s life. I can't thank you enough for how much easier you made saying goodbye to S___ for me.

l would like to say an extremely big thankyou from the bottom of our hearts for the beautiful service you gave at J___'s funeral. Everyone said how lovely it was and how clearly you spoke so everyone heard every word. Thankyou also for the beautiful copy of the service you gave us, we will always treasure it and all the memories of J___.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for Dad's service yesterday. Everyone recognised Dad from your eulogy. It was a beautiful and heartfelt memorial.
